fitzpatrick news

the latest from the fitzpatricks...

Well 2010 seems to be chugging right along whether we are ready or not. Dog shows are starting back up in full force. There is a show just about every other weekend through the summer. I am focusing on Lizzie for now. When I have someone to help me hold dogs ringside I will have both Gator and Lizzie entered so I will definitely be staying busy. The boys are enjoying school and the sunny days when they happen. I think we are all ready for summer! James has been reading the Percy Jackson books--finished the first four in four days and has been reading the last one just a little bit each night (I think he is dragging it out because it is the last one). Ryan is still working hard learning to read and spell. One of his favorite things is going to the library to pick out a stack of books that he reads to me at night for a bedtime story. We have been working on getting our 90 gallon saltwater aquarium up and running. I took some pictures today after I cleaned the glass. We ordered a couple new corals this week, but they won't be here for awhile. A couple of weekends ago we went to Northwest Trek and had a great day enjoying the animals and the sunshine. March will be a busy month for us--three weekends of dog activities, parent-teacher conference week and then the start of spring break. Here are some pictures from Northwest Trek and of our aquarium.

january update

So I slacked a little on the updates for the last six months. We moved to a nice home in WA and got the kids settled in their new school and we are in a pretty good routine now. Jim has been back and forth training here and there. We love the new unit we are assigned to, loving the area we picked to live and things are going well. We had a wonderful summer visiting family, going camping and getting a new puppy this August, a fawn female we named Lizzie. The whole family is wrapped around her little paw! This winter and spring I will be showing her and Gator as often as I can. Gator turned three years old a couple of days ago. James is in the 4th grade now and doing really well. He had an art project selected to be in the Art Festival for the school district this last Saturday. Ryan is in kindergarten and having a great time. He has lots of friends and is really enjoying learning new things every day. I volunteer in James's class on Wednesday afternoons and Ryan's class on Thursday afternoons. Couple that with dog classes on Mondays and Wednesdays and we have a pretty full schedule here in the Fitzpatrick house. I will do my best to keep this more up to date from here on out. Here are a bunch of pictures since we missed so many months and lots of exciting things we want to share.
